Sharing Your Time and Talents Volunteers play a vital role in our programs, ranging from nursery school toddlers helping to celebrate a holiday, to seniors eager to share work experiences and skills. Corporate volunteers also provide their time by sponsoring events and helping with special projects. Volunteer opportunities include: Recreational Activities – assist with various recreational programs that include music, exercise, games, crafts, entertainment and discussion groups. Pastoral Care – help escort residents to religious services in the chapel during the week and on weekends. Clerical Assistants – help with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, word processing, answering telephones, and helping with mailings and other office tasks. Day Center Assistants – help with activities, socialize with the residents, and help to serve lunch. Immigrant Services – teach in our "English for Speakers of Other Languages" program, assist in the Food Pantry, as well as with general office tasks. To volunteer, please tell us a little about yourself by completing the form below. |
