Immigrant Services - New York City
Sponsored by Cabrini Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Cabrini Immigrant Services has been providing Immigrants with a haven of support, empowerment, and service on Henry Street in New York City since 1999.
Legal Immigration Services
Cabrini Immigrant Services is accredited through the Bureau of Immigrant Appeals (BIA) to provide legal services to immigrants. Services include:
- Legal Consultations
- Assistance filing family based petitions
- Immigrant family program
Cabrini Immigrant Services is Committed To:
- Working with school age immigrant students and their families to ensure that they are receiving the best education possible
- Working with immigrant students to access higher education regardless of barriers due to immigration status
- Empowering the community through “Know Your Rights” workshops, counseling, family activities, and case management services
- Working with the community to create positive change for all immigrants through our Justice for Immigrants Campaign
English Classes
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Citizenship Exam Prep:
This program offers small group classes and individual tutoring for students of all levels and provides:
- Caring, Professional Teachers
- Services Provided in English and Spanish
- ESOL and Citizenship classes are offered on a suggested donation basis to help pay for textbooks. No student is ever turned away for inability to pay.
Food Pantry Services
- Nutritious Meals
- Registrants are Eligible to Receive Food Once a Month

According to Fatima, “When I was young and had just moved to the United States, I came to Cabrini Immigrant Services for help. There, angels helped me find my way. Today, with the help of God, I try to be an angel and help someone else find their way.”
