Providing Care at Home Some individuals have the option to receive care in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. The Home Care programs offered by Cabrini Eldercare Consortium allow maximum freedom for clients, promoting dignity and independence. Professionally-supervised services provide individualized care, tailored to the needs of the client and family. The Long Term Home Health Care Program provides the full array of services found in our nursing homes. This program is covered primarily by Medicaid, while some short-term services may be covered by Medicare. Private payment is accepted as well.  A specialized program for patients living with AIDS is available. Cabrini Care At Home provides a variety of essential home care services from home health aides and personal care attendants to homemakers, housekeepers, live-in companions and escort aides.
