Adult Day Health Care Some community residents have special health needs, but want to remain in their homes and in their familiar neighborhood. Our Adult Day Health Care programs provide an inviting and nurturing daytime environment that promotes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of its community’s participating residents. A registered nurse is on hand to monitor health and administer medications. The program also provides comprehensive dietary, recreation, and rehabilitation services as well as transportation to and from the program. Adult Day Health Care is a cost-effective alternative to nursing home placement and provides relief, support, and education to caregiver family members. These services are covered by Medicaid or private pay.
